DSA provided the complete M&E design for this new synagogue which replaces the old 1960’s synagogue. The facility includes a 500-person shul, multi-function room for weddings and receptions, kitchens, classrooms, and apartments above for the rabbi and caretaker. Facility has an intricate security system and special automatic controls for the M&E systems to operate during the Sabbath. The Air Source Heat Pumps, which provide the renewable energy, had to be acoustically designed so that there was zero noise emanating from the rooftop plant to abide by the strict planning conditions. The project is under construction and shall be completed in 2019.
